What Causes Pain In Throat?

I have experienced a pain in my throat where my trachea rings appear to pop out of place when it happened today it felt as if my throat had a cramp and caused severe pain in my throat and when I swallowed I had severe pain in my head it lasted two hours then seemed to pop back in place and pain disappeared

pain in throat most commonly is due to upper respiratory tract infection ,tonsillitis,pharyngitis.
while the symptoms chronology you have mentioned is a bit specific and it requires a proper and detailed examination .
hence i would suggest you to visit an ent specialist an seek proper examination and seek proper treatment.
