What Causes Pain In The Right Side And Under The Rib Cage?

I have been havin pain in my right side on and off for 4 years now. I have had ultrasounds, ct scan, barrium test, all of which have come back clear. The pain is gradually getting worse, as I haven t been able to work for 2 days now with the pain. I am also now getting a fluttering feeling below my ribcage. I have been told I have Gilberts Syndrome and I also have type of hernia. Visits to my regular dr now seem pointless as everytime I see someone, a different diagnosis is given. When I saw a dr 2 weeks aaaago, I was put on Gabapentin 300mg 3 times daily, for 12th rib syndrome. The gabapentin is doing nothing. I am currently taking 30/500 co-codamol 4 time a day.
