What Causes Pain In The Hip Post An Abdominal Hysterectomy?

Hi I had a abdominal hysterectomy 4 weeks ago and ever since the top of my right thigh is numb I have pain in my hip and down the front of my leg is sore and Carnt stand anything touching my leg I had a injection in my spine also a general anaesthetic.

Hi.
You can not stand anything touching the leg after the history of surgery and spinal anesthesia suggests me to think about neurological trauma to the sensory nerve. This can be due to Spinal anesthesia or may be independent of this . You need a mapping of the sensitive area to decide the level of trauma.

You need to start the medicines like nerve tonics and particularly medicines like Gabapentin under the supervision and consultation of the Neurologist an get an MRI of the spine done.
