What Causes Pain In The Breast Along With Belching?

I have mild to moderate pain on my left side, just under my breast. The pain is worse when I bend over, turn my head to the left, or when I m sitting for long periods of time (such as driving). The pain goes away when I am standing or lying down. I am currenty being treated for a yeast fungus (left axilla), and two weeks ago I had a colonoscopy. I have also been belching a lot (belching is rare for me).

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

It seems like pain from overused muscles or overstretch. Just take rest and have any anti inflammatory drug such as Advil or Naproxen. It will resolve soon on its own.

Hope I have answered the question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
