What Causes Pain In My Chest?

i want to get a heart check up to know the condition of my heart,any blockages in arteries etc. i sometimes get pain in my chest which goes off on its own after some time. i am 49 yrs old.what tests should a cardiologist carry out and what will be the approximate total cost?

I can understand your concern.
You are having Menopausal age. During this age, women are more prone for heart diseases.
So you should definitely consult cardiologist and get done blood pressure monitoring, ecg, 2d echo, stress test (trade mill test) and coronary angiography (if required).
All these reports are required to check whether there is any blockage in coronary artery or not.
Cost varies with different hospitals. But approximate cost of all reports will be around 15000INR.
