What Causes Pain In Eyes When Looking Up, Down Or Sides?

Hi, My name is Paula. My husband (40y.o.) free from chronic conditions as far as we know, just passed a physical with flying colors, has experienced a strange sequence of symptoms starting from yesterday. I was wondering what you think is making him sick. - he developed a very bad headache last night that was made better with Advil, as well as eye pain, when looking up, down or to the sides. - woke up this morning, and complained that he has a headache again and it hurts when he is looking up or down or to the sides again; with pain localized in his eyebrow and lower forehead area, as well as the eyes, as well as when he lightly presses on his eyeballs with eyes closed. - later in the day today he experienced a bout of diarrhea - more like a lose stool, which made him go 3 times in 3 hours, which was unusual for him. It seemed to run its course pretty quickly, and now he s diarrhea free but that was replaced with a fever of 101.3 F. He is still experiencing pain looking up, down or to either side, with pain being mostly in his eyebrow and lower forehead area. He doesn t seem to have any other symptoms and he s had the fever for about 7 hours so far. Thank you!
