What Causes Pain In Eye?

Hello, I have a pain in my right eye. It feels like an eyelash is in my eye but there is nothing there. This has been the case for about 2 weeks. I looked closely today at my eye and it appears to the right side of my cornea what it actually is is a tiny (about 1mm wide) crater in the white of my eye (sclera?) about 5mm to the right of the iris of my eyeball. What is this?

Hello
It seems from the history that you are having pain in the eye. This can be because of the crater you have mentioned on the right side of cornea.
This indicates that probably you are having corneal epithelial defect which is causing pain.
The treatment of the condition is by use of antibiotic eye drops and artificial tears. Analgesic drugs can be used for pain relief.
Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.hank you

Thank you
