What Causes Pain In Chest With Spitting Up Of Green Sputum?

i have been having chest pain since sunday. i thought it was heartburn however now its just an irritating discomfort. been researching and little scared that may be pneumonia. only symptom i have is cough, spitting up white/green sputnum, occasionally w/blood. but the cough is just everynow and then, more in the morning when i wake. no fever or chills. i dont know if i may have just pulled something.

I can understand your concern.
Cough with green phlegm and occasional hemoptysis (blood in sputum) should be evaluated for lung infection (pneumonia).
So better to consult pulmonologist and get done clinical examination of respiratory system and chest x ray.
You may need higher antibiotics and other supportive treatment.
Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep yourself hydrated.
