General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,
Thank you for trusting HCM.
heart burn is a symptom of GERD disease, which you already know about. Since you did endoscopy and found presence of bacteria the triple therapy is needed to get rid of this bacteria which will help in putting an end to the heartburn hopefully.

Triple therapy — The regimen most commonly recommended for first line treatment of H. pylori is triple therapy with a Proton pump inhibitor for a month, amoxicillin (1 g twice daily), and clarithromycin (500 mg twice daily) for 7 to 14 days.

hope that helped
Dr. Ahmad
