What Causes Pain In Chest/back And Armpits?
I was given antibiotics for pneumonia and I finish them tomorrow. I was feeling a lot better until today. I woke up this morning with pain in my chest back and under my armpits. I am also short of breath is this still symptoms of pneumonia or could this be something else

Hi. This is because of the the inflammation of the covering of the lungs called pleura. The pleura allows the lungs to move with every breath without us knowing.
Due to inflammation when both the inner and outer pleura rub iver each other , one gets pain like you have.
Consult your Doctor. He will know this by putting a stethoscope ob your chest and can listen to the classical rub and this is the best diagnostic test.
Repeat X-ray chest may show different signs.
avoid exposure to extreme temperatures/ scents so that the coughing is not increased.
