What Causes Pain In Abdomen Post Hernia Repair?

Hello, my name is Kenneth. I had a hernia repair in aug 2013. since then I have have been in a lot of pain. Tender stomach, hard to wear a belt, pain just under my belly button down to my bladder. sometimes the pain goes in my inside upper thighs. with just this little info so far does this sound like my mesh is the cause of all the pain

Hello and welcome.

Post-hernia pair rehabilitation is important and does take some time. A hernia has made a lot of changes in the cavity it was previously present, and so it will take time for things to return to a more confortable state.

But if your pain continues, then this may require some attention and possibly even another minor surgery. But as I do not have all the details, your operating surgeon would be the best person to direct all your questions to.
