What Causes Pain During Periods And Dizziness After Tubal Ligation?

Hi I have my tubes tied, and I started my period this morning. It was way more painful than usual. Felt dizzy all day. Then by this evening the bleeding got much worse and ended up bleeding on myself in a very short time. When I went to change my tampon a few chunks of flesh came out. They were about an inch to an inch and a half long, and maybe a half inch wide. They were white with a little pink color to them. This is not normal at all for me. If you could please help me with an answer it would be much appreciated. Thank you.

I have gone through your Query & I really appreciate your concern about the problem you are facing.

As a physician I would like to tell you that there are many a time these symptoms seen in post-tubal ligation patients. These are due to the hormonal imbalance caused in your body due to Tubal ligation.

Sometimes it it called as Post Tubal Ligation syndrome but many of the medical fraternity dismiss it as myth. So, I would suggest that you sit tight and let the nature take it's course. But, if the bleeding does not stop or lessens even after 1-2 cycles, you must visit your Obgy doctor to get the physical examination done to rule out other causes of heavy bleeding.
