What Causes Pain And Numbness In The Upper Arm?

I am inquiring about my 48-year old boyfriend who has a diagnosis of rhabdomylosis. Is experiencing very irritating pain, numbness in left upper arm, tingling. Not sure when diagnosis was initially given, but he did suffer a gunshot wound to his right foot/ankle one year ago. I have done much extensive research on this condition, which comes and goes. Symptoms started about four months ago with this. What exactly should he speak with his doctor about? Myoglobin levels?

Sorry to hear of his pain. In fact, the pain in his upper arm does not appear to be related to rhabdomyolysis that was a year back. Neither it relates to the wound on foot.

This more appears like a trapped nerve in the neck. Where nerve exit the spine in the neck they can be compressed. Mostly it is not very serious and physiotherapy may help. Your doctor would examine you to see for it and then plan ahead.
