What Causes Pain And Numbness In The Toes?

hello Doctor, I am confused about my toes. I have pain and numbness which is the confusing thing, but they are very cold also. It has been getting worse at night. I have checked Peripheral Neuropathy and Peripheral vascular disease. Do they both have the same syntoms? Thanks Donna

hey Donna... it will be helpful if u give details of smoking history, alcohol intake, diet intake, diabetes ,hypertension or any significant history.
coming to your question peripheral neuropathy present like tingling and numbness b/l feet and may b hands. in peripheral arterial disease its usually unilateral with history of claudication that is pain in walking fixed distance forcing you to stop.so if you provide detail past history, personal history onset and progression of symptom will help more
I find this answer helpful
