I would advise you the following in such a situation: Sitz bath in a tub with warm water. Laxatives. Anti-inflammatory medications. Tests of stool, urine and blood and get corrected anything that is found on these tests. Antibiotic, metronidazole and probiotics may help in some cases. Control of stress and anxiety. Avoid the foods and beverages that cause such a problem. Consult a General surgeon for per-rectal digital examination and colonoscopy. Anal dilatation or internal sphincterotomy may be needed if the medical management fails to heal the fissure.
