I can only describe what my wife tells me. Her left eye was the one that was operated on for acute glaucoma. She felt sharp and throbbing pain on that side because of blocked drainage. After the surgery her pains were gone and the pressure in the eye has been kept always within the normal range. That was 2012. Recently she begins to feel very short spell of pain just above that eye, not that strong and also it comes and goes with no regular pattern. She does not know if the problem is gradually coming back. She keeps using eye drops the doctor has prescribed. Another thing keeps bothering her is that since the surgery she has not been able to see things as clearly as before. It is kind like seeing things through a light veil . Wonder if this is a remnant of the surgery.
