What Causes Odor In Urine While Having Enamel Erosion?

I have a question for you. I have enamel erosion and I get an urinary yeast infection. Sometimes, when I pee, my urine smells bad. Why is that? Is it because of my enamel erosion, the urinary yeast infection, or something I ate? I am 27 years old. I weigh about 128lbs. I am 5 feet tall.

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

The cause of urine odor is low immunity induced urinary infection; it is not the enamel erosion which is causing the odor. I recommend to consume plenty of liquids, antibiotic according to the urine culture for best possible results and outcome.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,

Dr. Bhagyesh V. Patel
