What Causes Numbness On The Tip Of Tongue?

Have had numbness of tip of tongue for few days, had root canal 4 weeks ago and had dental implants one year ago #8&10.
Have chronic low WBC and RBC no reason found over years.
Have had fusion at c5&6 20 years ago and presently very painful left shoulder blade area especially muscles around scapula.
Any ideas?

Thanks for your query, I have gone through your query.
The numbness(anesthesia or parasthesia) can be because of the pressure over the nerve by a wisdom tooth, or a tumor or a cyst. The other possible cause can be any injury to the nerve by trauma or any injection at the site of nerve or even implant placement. Nothing to be panic, consult a oral physician and get yourself examined and take a screening radiograph like OPG to rule out the above said causes.
Mean while you can take a nerve regenerating drugs like multivitamins particularly, vitamin B6 and B12. Take care of the part which is numb from hot, cold and sharp objects, because you will not be able to make out the sensation.
I hope my answer will help you, take care.
