What Causes Numbness On The Right Side Of The Mouth?

On 2 different day my right side of mouth became numb as if I had novacaine and then my right fingertips and hand fell asleep. I have been eating healthy and walking on my treadmill in the last few weeks so I have been feeling very good in losing 12 lbs. already. My right thigh also falling asleep when I am on the treadmill as well. The nurses at work said I could be having a mini stroke but it feels more like a pinched nerve or something else! It sounds weird but at the same time when this is happening I also feel the need to have a bowel movement because changing my diet I am having a little difficulty with this! Pls help!!
