General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

It could be a neuropathic pain like in carpel tunnel syndrome.
Consult a neurologist and get evaluated. He might require a nerve conduction study for further assessment.

Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shinas Hussain,
