Hi, I ve been getting numbness in my hands & feet for awhile. I asked my doctor about it. He said it sounds like rynods dease. I went back for a physical for my new job and my blood pressure was low. My doctor said she wasn t concerned because I m a very healthy person. Just recently I get pains in my hand, feels like someone s stabing me with needles, also I ve been constipated alot. Was wondering if you could send me in the right direction. I would feel a little at ease if I had an answer. . Thanks So Much!
According to symptoms there is possibility of peripheral neuropathy which can be age related,in peripheral neuropathy there is numbness rather than pain.
I will advice for MRI spine and EMG-NCV [nerve conduction] study. Colour doppler will rule out vascular cause.
Till time some medication like methylcobalamine , you can take them consulting your treating doctor. You may consult physiotherapist for guidance. He may start TENS, or ultrasound which is helpful in your case.
Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.
