What Causes Numbness In The Hands Along With Dizziness?

My son is 28 has been experiencing numbing in hands and some dizziness. Like when you stand up quickly. Been constant for over a week. Had MRI brain scan. And other tests. Found cavernous angina. Neurosurgeon said it was incidental and is not causing these symptoms. Will be referred to neurologist but in the interim I am curious and was wondering if he should go to an orthopedist.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I don't think he may need to visit an orthopedist. I think he is better to visit a neurologist.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Olgeta Xhufka , General & Family Physician
