Internal Medicine Specialist 's  Response
Hi,

A stroke may lead to weakness of the face and numbness in the tongue. It may also be present in facial nerve palsy or trigeminal neuralgia or diabetes or herpes zoster infection etc.

Until examination is done it is difficult to say what it is. Use antiplatelet and antihyperlipidemic drugs. Use tablet Pregabalin. if symptoms not improved please consult your neuro physician, he will examine and treat you accordingly.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
