What Causes Numbness In The Arms After Injuring The Rotator Cuffs?

I fell and tore the rotator cuff in both arms. It is the one that allows me to raise my arms straight up and to reach out in front of me. This happened approx. in November. In the last couple of months both of my arms and hands have become numb. This getting worse every day. I didn t get it checked because I thought it was related to the tears. Does this sound like MS to you? I have all the symptoms. In the last month or so I have become totally off balance, falling often. MS or rotator cuff tear related? My email is down.

Dear how old are you?? Are you alcoholic?? Rotator cuff injury cause pain while lifting hand above the head, if your feelings tingling and numbness lifting hand above head may due to thoracic out let syndrome caused by pressure on nerve structure like brachial plexus. Some time upper mediastinal mass also give same problem. Then multiple sclerosis may present with vision problems, bladder problems, balance problems etc. Rotator cuff tear won't cause balance problems, so don't worry just consult your neurologist he will examine and advice mri and treat you accordingly.
