What Causes Numbness In Nose And Soreness Inside Mouth?

my daughter got head butted on the nose during a game of football. A few people heard a crack! One side of her nose is stuffy, slightly numb and the inside roof of her mouth is sore. Her nose is not obviously distorted but maybe slightly indented on one side. Should I take her to accident and emergency?

thanks for your query, i have gone through your query. the indentation over the nose and the soreness over the palate could be because of the fractured nasal bone and the palatal bone. even numbness could be secondary to fracture resulting in nerve injury. consult a oral physician and get a radiograph done to rule out fracture and treat accordingly. if there is a fractured bone it can be treated by plating. i hope my answer will help you. take care.
