General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

I agree with your doctor that the symptoms seem to be related to overuse of the muscle from workouts. I suggest using anti inflammatory medications such as Acetaminophen to relieve the symptoms. I also suggest to avoid workout for some days. I recommend to take a magnesium supplement.

Hope my answer was helpful. If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Regards,
Dr. Dorina Gurabardhi, General & Family Physician
