What Causes Numbness In Hands And Fingers?

Hi, This is a bit of an unusual situation, but the tendons in my right wrist were bit by a Military McCaw and now I have a numbing sensation that runs from my index finger tip through the palm of my hand and into my wrist where she bit me. It s been 3 days and the numbing hasn t gone away... Is there anything I can do to make it go away or feel better?

Hi I did review your concern.
This symptom is due to nerve injury by the bite.
I would recommend a short course of gabapentin or pregabilin tablets and it might help you relieve from neurological pain till the nerves regenerate completely. You can also take ibuprofen to relieve inflammation also.
I hope this helps
Wish you all the best.
