What Causes Numbness In Hand And Headache?

Yesterday I got a headache while driving and it caused part of my vision to blur or see spots. When I got home, I took a shower and took 2 advils and started cooking. I was trying to talk but wasn t making any sense. The words weren t what i was trying to say or it was taking me a minute to say anything. Then my hand felt numb or like it had fallen asleep. I took a nap and had a slight headache when i woke up and slight headache this morning but has faded.

Welcome to healthcaremagic.com Sorry to hear about your neurologic difficulties. What I fear is that you are having ischemic events to your brain. The blurred vision, slurred speech and arm numbness all point to mini strokes. Unless imaging tells you otherwise, I would have this checked as soon as you can. Do you have any other cardiovascular issues, does your heart race? These could all be related. Remember that mini strokes/TIA's are a window into a future stroke. Hope this helps, good luck
