My face is numb but only on the left side from the left side of my nose to the top of the left side of my face. Sometimes I have difficulty swallowing. It started Sunday morning and has not gone away. Went hospital Sunday night. Had cat scan and blood work. Everything came back negative. Numbness still here

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

I have studied your case.

Facial numbness can be due to intra cranial bleed or stroke.
You may need to consult and further investigate.

CT scan may not detect minor bleed or infact so,
When such patient comes to my hospital we usually do MRI brain or MRA [magnetic angiography].
Neurotropic medication like methylcobalamine 1500 mcg daily will help for improving focus.

Hope this answers your query. If you have additional questions or follow up queries then please do not hesitate in writing to us. I will be happy to answer your queries.

Wishing you good health.

Take care.
