General & Family Physician 's  Response
HI, thanks for using healthcare magic

Numbness or tingling are usually related to abnormal nerve structure or function.

This is called peripheral neuropathy since it relates to nerves outside of the brain and spinal cord.

Since the pain is in the upper limbs then you may want to consider imaging of the neck and shoulder to see if any of the nerves in this area are being affected by changes in the cervical spine and shoulder.

Your GP can request the initial xray but for follow up you may need to see a neurologist or orthopedic surgeon depending on the findings.

There are medications that can help with nerve related symptoms.

I hope this helps
