What Causes Numbness And Tingling Sensation In Finger Post Injury?
I smashed my hand in the hatchback of our car. Went to the walk in clinic nothing was broken. My ring finger is experiencing severe tingling, almost like if it were to fall asleep and then come back. It s extremely annoying what can be done for this?

HI
Thanks for posting your query.
Just because nothing has broken doesn't mean nothing has been injured . You seemed to have sustained an injury to the nerve in the hand and because of this nerve injury you are getting this tingling and numbness .
Most of the nerve injuries heal without complication. So my advise is to wait for few days , use ice compresses and if required use Combiflam. If the problems persists even after 4-5 days consult your doctor again to check for any significant nerve injury.
Hope this information was useful to you. Any clarification feel free to ask .
