What Causes Numbness And Sensitivity On The Outer Thigh?

Hi, 13 years ago when i was pregnant with my daughter, the right thigh outer edge went suddenly numb and sensitive to the touch. after visiting my gp i was told it was probably a pinched nerve and would sort its out. Unfortunately it did not, 4 weeks ago the sensitivity and pain scale has gone through the roof. It felt like a ball of fire charging down my thigh and exploding in my knee cap. Today, i noticed a small lump on my outer thigh at the top and part of my leg changed colour. it looked like it was wet? The pain has been so excrutiating i cant work and now too scared to drive my car. I have taken ibuprofen, paracetamol, tramadol, naproxen, diazepam but it hasn't touched it. It is so sensitive now i am reduced to wearing short shouts as the material on it kills me. Having a bath has also now become a major pain . I dont know whats wrong and can it be sorted? I'm at the end of my tether. Thanks Vikki
