What Causes Numbness And Loss Of Erection During Intercourse?

my boyfriend (age 23) has complained of numbness and loss of erection during intercourse on multiple occasions. He can get an erection, but a few minutes into the act, he loses it. This typically happens during late-night sessions, and rarely during morning ones. What could the problem be?

Hi,

If your boyfriend gets an erection and looses it during the intercourse, this can be due to psychological erectile dysfunction. here are some tips to deal with it:
1. Avoid the cycle; many men can fall into a cycle of performance anxiety
2. Focus on the senses; many men with performance anxiety mentally releive their perceived sexual failures regularly
3. Regular exercise a few times a week may help with ED

In the morning the blood supply to the genitals is good, that is why it rarely happens in morning.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
