For this reason, I would recommend consulting with your doctor and performing a nerve conduction study (electroneurography) to exclude this possible cause. Other blood lab tests are necessary too : complete blood count, iron plasma levels, fasting glucose, kidney and liver function tests, blood electrolytes, etc..
