What Causes Numb Face, Cramping In Intestines With Constipation?
Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... I get cramping in intestine, numbness of mouth and face, a bout of constipation. Then after bowel movement there is nausea and several very watery bowel movements. Several times I have even vomited during these "pooping spells" that is all I know to call them. The numbness worries me because my jaws mouth and face get numb.
Noted the history and understood the concerns. Cramping with loose watery stools indicates severe intestinal infection and the side effects can be electrolyte imbalance causing numbness of face. Hence I would advise you the following in such a situation: Rush to the nearby hospital. You need a clinical evaluation, examination and most important intravenous fluids and electrolytes after the blood is drawn for detailed tests of CBC, electrolytes and kidney functions. Tests of stool. Intravenous antibiotics and supporting medications. Also talk about the face numbness whether related to the electrolyte imbalance or some neurological problems and get investigated accordingly.
Take Care
