What Causes Nausea, High BP And Constant Headache?

my wife has had a constant headache for 2 1/2 months. She feels shaky, is nauseated (of late), blood pressure is spiking almost daily. CAT scan, MRI show no sinus issues, tumors, or migraines. She is lethargic, and is exhausted after a short time with any exercise. She is going back to family internist this week. need help. living life in a recliner. This is a very active woman who s ambition far surpasses most. She bikes, kayaks, and tills the garden.!! She is 69 years old. No one seems to know what is wrong.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Since she has a history of high blood pressure & is nauseous, she should continue to take medications prescribed to keep the BP under control.

Developing cardiac pathology also causes fatigue & exhaustion, hypertension is indicative of heart disease.

Get a thorough cardiac examination done along with ECG, CBC, X-Ray, Lipid function tests, etc. Your treatment will depend upon the severity of the illness detected.

Take a heart-healthy diet to reduce the risk of hypertension & have good cardiac health.

Eat low fat-protein, low sodium, whole grain, reduce carbohydrate intake, green veggies, berries, yogurt. Do regular exercises. Stay away from addictions & alcohol.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
