What Causes Nausea And Headache After A Head Injury?

i fell backwards at netball last night and hit the back of my head quite hard. immediately afterwards i felt like vomitting but that went away quickly. also had a headache for a while and felf so drowsy and a little weak. i have not been to see the doctor but i woke up this morning and my head still feels sore and i still have a headache. is this normal. also i could not sleep very well. i had confusing dreams last night that i could not make into any one particular dream. it was all mixed dreams about random situations. what should i do?

Hi. I would suggest you attend your nearest Emergency Department as a priority. The things that concern me are: persistent headache, nausea, drowsiness. You need to be assessed fully in order to determine whether you need to have a CT scan of your head to exclude a significant head injury - bruising or bleeding in the brain.
