Hello and welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.

I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

As a physician I would like to tell you that your dentist must have prescribed you with antibiotics and pain medications after removal of tooth, so you need not to worry about the infection. Also, sometimes due to irritation of the nerves while removing tooth, you get symptoms like yours.

Thus, I would suggest that you should not worry about the symptoms and complete the course of medication if any is prescribed. I would also like to add that you should visit your treating dentist as soon as possible if the symptoms continues to happen. Thanks for trusting and posting your query on this forum.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Abhijeet
