What Causes Nausea Along With Stomach Cramps?

Hi, I am Nineteen years old and I have been experiencing nausea and cramps. The last two days I have been having light pink discharge and today I have been having brown in my underwear but none when I wipe. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex on Monday, the3rd, and I went to the doctor for a checkup on Tuesday the fourth and they did a pregnancy test which was negative. My last period was two days before my boyfriend and I had unprotected sex. I am very concerned about what might be going on?

I can understand your concern. If you had unprotected sex on 3rd and went for pregnancy test on just the next day, the 4th, it is really very soon for the test to come positive even if you are pregnant. The home pregnancy tests with urine takes at least 14 days (21 for confirmed results) to give positive results after unprotected test. Even if you went for blood test for pregnancy at hospital, it takes 3-4 days or up to a week for giving positive results.

Thus, if you are worried regarding pregnancy, you can count the days from unprotected sex and take the test accordingly. After the test, you can consult a gynecologist for further proceedings.
