What Causes Muscle Weakness And Breathlessness With Day To Day Activities?
31 years female having muscle weakness with pain since one month
fatigue & breathlessness with activities like combing hairs, changing clothes since 15 days
provisional diagnosis" polymyositis
tests performed echo, ECG, USG, RA, TFT,NCV -normal
CPK increased 3661, LDH-911, ESR- 46, SGOT-155, SGPT- 112, Calcium 8.8
EMG of right vastus medialis & Tibialis anterior showed increased insertional activity, minimal voluntry contraction, ruling some muscle disease.
Muscle biopsy planned.
drugs-Shelcal 1gm, Zerodol, pantodec, cobadex.
pednisilone 60mg planned not started yet.
plz seeit & suggest appropriate diagnosis & line of treatment.
