What Causes Muscle Soreness In The Middle Of Thigh While Taking Knee Therapy?

Going Through knee therapy and have noticed a small pull of what I thought to be a muscle soreness in the middle of my thigh. I occasionally rub the area and it felt like a sore pulled slightly constant pain muscle. This has gone on for a few weeks or more. This morning I woke up to bruising and small dime size red spots. Do I have a blood clot?

Orthopaedic Surgeon, Joint Replacement 's  Response
For what disease you are taking knee therapy? I would assume it may for knee arthritis. Because of knee problems swelling can appear even up to mid thigh and also pain. i would recommend you to apply local heat either through warm water or cloth.I will also advised you to apply local ointment like diclofenec gel. Avoid sitting on floor and cross leg sitting.
