What Causes More Appetite During 9th Month Of Pregnancy?

Im 9 months pregnant, and this morning after having a good healthy breakfast... 30 minutes later, ive realized that im more hungry than i was before i started. Ive never had this happen before, and i was wondering what it might mean, and if i should consult my obstetrician?

During the ninth month of pregnancy, your baby will be gaining about a half pound every week, so the baby&other metabolism is increased & requires more nutrition. That explain why you're more hungry. A sharp increase in appetite is normal during this month of pregnancy, so there's nothing to worry about. See your obstetrician on your next appointment or before if you will have other problems.
