What Causes Missed Periods, Breast Tenderness, Fatigue And Headaches?

Hi, I am 32 years old and had my tubes tide in October of 2003.. I have had two missed periods and have nausea, breast tenderness, raised body temp, fatigue, as well as headaches and mood swings.. I have taken several home tests and they have come back negative every time, yet the symptoms presist. I keep telling my husband that I must be coming down with something, but is this something I should take more seriously? I mean there is no way I could be pregnant I had my tubes tide and its been successful for 10 years right?

Hello,

I have gone through your query and understood the concern. It is true that with a successful tubal ligation pregnancy is next to impossible but, you should also be aware of the fact that it is also possible for pregnancy to occur after a sufficient time gap and this is due to reanastomosis. I would ask you to see a specialist for a proper evaluation. You may need a sonogram of the pelvis to clarify the situation.

Hope that helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Shanti Vennam
