What Causes Miscarrages?
I am currently 41 years old. My husband and I have three wonderful children ages 8, 6 and 4. My last baby was born in 2010 and I got pregnant in 2012 which resulted in a miscarriage before 12 weeks. I got pregnant again in 2013 which resulted in another miscarriage and now 2014 I had another miscarriage. It seems like the baby stops growing in two of the miscarriages and the third one the baby never grew at all. I also have a hx. of fibroids- that are only present on ultrasound during pregnancies and now multiple adhesions after my 1st or second pregnancy. I have requested a miscarriage panel to check my estrogen and progesterone levels as well as my clotting levels.

as you have described that you are already having three children ageing 8,6 and 4 and had regular miscarriages from the year 2012- 2014 regularly and also you had fibroid and adhesions in the uterine cavity, which may be the one of the cause of your miscarriages and also there may be any piece of endometrium or part of placenta left in your uterine wall , which may be the major cause of your miscarriage. Therefore I suggest you to go for D & C operation by your gynecologist and you may find cure of your problem, if at all you need more child after three healthy children. Good luck and take care
