What Causes Mild Pain In The Head?

Hello Doctors,I am having a mild pain in my head at two to four different points that is on and off. It is not severe but it just comes for less than a second and goes off. This is since fifteen days. I comes on some days and disappears for some days. My BP it is 114/82. Is it some thing serious for which I should get MRI or CT scan? Regards GK

Hello GK!

Welcome on Healthcaremagic!

Your symptoms seem to be caused by tension type headache, which is a benign type of headache.

It is mainly related to psychological or emotional stress.

Coming to this point, I would recommend taking acetaminophen or ibuprofen for headache.
But, there is not reason to make any additional tests.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Kind regards, Dr. Aida
