What Causes Migraine After Taking Estradiol?

I am seeing a nutritionist that is working to balance my hormones. Recently she started me on and then all of a sudden last week I had a 5 day migraine and then one day later in the middle of the night I rolled over in bed and the whole room started spinning! Guess I have vertigo...its not gone yet after 6 days. Could that be related to the estradiol??? or could it have been brought on by such a long migraine???

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Possibility of estradiol related vertigo and migraine is less likely in your case.
But better to get done hormone levels to rule out estradiol overdose.
If this is normal then, it is not due to estradiol.
Sometimes, you should follow lifestyle modifications for better symptomatic relief in migraine.
So follow below mentioned lifestyle modifications.
1. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep your self hydrated.
2. Avoid excessive sun exposure.
3. Avoid oily and spicy food.
4. Avoid fasting and take your meals timely.
5. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
6. Take sound sleep of 6-8 hours.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
