What Causes Many Premature Heartbeats In A Minute?
Hi,
I'm a healthy 25 year old male. I have no history of any illness and only have one death in my familly because of Heart Attack (Grandfather 76). I experience premature heartbeats daily and many every minute. They feel like a normal beat that just sparked up early. I don't have any other symptom other than they make me nervous. I exercise, am athletic and don't smoke and drink ocasionally. Thanks!
To avoid premature ventricular contractions, you should avoid smoking, taking alcohol, caffeine or drugs. They may worsen the symptoms.
You are suggested to do regular exercises, avoid junk food, keep well hydrated, stay away from stress & anxiety. Maintain low BMI. Take adequate sleep.
You can get a cardiac checkup done to rule out any congenital cardiac anomaly or any developing CAD.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Nupur K, General & Family Physician
