What Causes Lump On The Outer Side Of Voice Box?
I had thyroid cancer 9 yrs ago and I recently noticed a hard lump on the outer right side of my voice box. I m sure this lump wasn t there 8 weeks ago when I had an ultra sound for a different problem! The lump is about the size of a m&m. I have had a cold the last 2 weeks but I wondering if it was cancer again can a lump grow that quickly? What do you think?

it is best if you do a follow-up consult with your doctor, preferably a general or an ENT surgeon. recurrence is a possibility. diagnostics, such as neck ultrasound and/or ct-scan and blood examinations, will be suggested as needed. management (medical and/or surgical) will be directed accordingly.
