Hi
Welcome to Healthcare-Magic
Greetings of the day

Based on the description, possibility of either Parotid gland enlargement or Pre-auricular lymph nodes is to be considered.
AS it is on one side , its more likely to be lymph node, source of infection is usually scalp.
Routine assessment by Pediatrician is all that is required.

In case you need any further assistance, will be glad to assist you.

Wishing you happy and healthy life

Take Care
