What Causes Lower Calf Pain Which Has Moved To Back?
My husband had a massive PE in Dec. Yesterday he had lower calf pain, which later went away and seems to have moved to his lower back. The pain is worse when he takes a deep breath. Could this be another blood clot? He is taking blood thinners and his INR s have been theraputic for over 2 months.

Another blood clot is less likely when he is already on blood thinners. This can be due to a muscle spasm also. Rest and mild pain killers can help.
